Paddling moving water has inherent risks, including injury, drowning, damage to gear and equipment. We highly recommend that anyone renting gear has, or is with a trip leader who has taken a course and is experienced paddling and rescuing in moving water. It can be dangerous paddling rapids without proper safety skills, and easy to damage gear in the event of an incident in the rapids. Be sure to ask about our boat and gear damage policy if you plan to rent equipment to avoid damage charges.
