Whitewater Canoe and Kayak Rentals

All canoes come with whitewater outfitting (skid plates, knee pads, thigh straps and air bags). Safety gear and paddling accessories are available and shown in the second chart below. Shuttle Services on the Madawaska River in Palmer Rapids

Shuttles, Pickups, Drop offs and gear deliveries on the Madawaska River and Surrounding area

We offer shuttle services to the local rivers in and around the Madawaska valley, and specialize in shuttles on the Lower Madawaska River.

Our shuttle van can accommodate up to 10 passengers and we have a variety of trailers well suited to transport all your boats.

Renting gear and hoping to have it delivered to the put-in or take-out? We can make that happen!

Most Popular Lower Madawaska River Shuttle Requests

Griffith Pickup

We pick up your group and/or rental gear from the takeout at Griffith and return to Paddler Co-op. Rate is for a maximum of 10 paddlers plus gear.

Rate: $235

Ideal for paddlers doing a multi-day river trip down the lower mad to Griffith and wanting to make a quick exit towards home at the end of the day instead of back-tracking to Paddler Co-op. Also ideal for paddlers who started their river trip at Paddler Co-op or Palmer Rapids and want to be returned to their vehicle at the put-in after the trip. NOTE: Let us know if you want a paddler pickup for more than 4 people so we can coordinate vehicle(s) appropriately. Additional charges apply above 10 paddlers for a second shuttle vehicle. Late pickups charged $50 per half hour late.

Buck Bay Pickup

We pickup your group and/or rental gear from the takeout at Buck Bay and return to Paddler Co-op

Rate: $108

Ideal for paddlers running the lower mad and wanting to make a quick exit towards home at the end of the day instead of back-tracking to Paddler Co-op.Late pickups charged $50 per half hour late.

Aumonds Bay Drop-off

We deliver your group and/or rental gear from Paddler Co-op to Aumonds Bay.

Rate: $93

Ideal for paddlers running the lower mad and renting gear and want to save time by just driving to the put-in.

Paddler Co-op to Griffith Vehicle Drop

We drive your vehicle from Paddler Co-op to Buck Bay

Rate: $271

Ideal for paddlers who carpool together to The Co-op for a multi-day lower Mad river trip and want us to “set shuttle” for them. Also available for starting at Jessup’s or Pine Point (Palmer Rapids)

Aumonds to Buck Vehicle Drop

We drive your vehicle from Aumonds Bay to Buck Bay

Rate: $162

Ideal for paddlers who carpool together to the Aumonds Bay put-in for a day trip and want us to “set shuttle” for them.
