Quick Details

Community Paddle Nights

FREE Community Event • Every Monday Evening Starting June 1, 2026

Community Paddle Nights are free, instructor-led paddling evenings designed to build confidence, improve water safety skills, and bring people together on the water. Made possible through community partnerships and local sponsors, these evenings create accessible opportunities for people of all experience levels to learn, connect, and enjoy time on the river in a supportive, welcoming environment.

What to Expect

Community Paddle Nights are designed to be welcoming, confidence-building evenings on the water. You can expect:

  • Instructor-led community paddles

  • A clear focus on water safety fundamentals you can apply beyond the evening

  • Skill-building at a comfortable pace

  • A relaxed, inclusive atmosphere for all comfort levels

  • Plenty of time to connect with fellow paddlers and build community

These evenings are not formal lessons. Instead, instructors paddle with the group, offering tips, encouragement, and support as needed.

Paddle Focus

Community Paddle Nights will focus on:

  • Kayaking

  • Packrafting

Whether you are refining your technique or getting more comfortable on the water, these evenings help build familiarity and confidence. They are perfect for those looking to gain experience, build confidence, or simply enjoy paddling with others who value safety and community.

Who It’s For

Community Paddle Nights are open to paddlers who want to learn, practice, and paddle together in a supportive environment, including:

  • Newer paddlers looking to build confidence and comfort

  • Experienced paddlers seeking community time on the water

  • Anyone interested in building community through shared time on the water
