KidsCAN Whitewater Day Camp – Whitewater Adventures for Youth

Introduce your kids to the exciting world of whitewater paddling in a safe, supportive, and fun environment!
Designed for beginner to intermediate youth, KidsCAN is a 4 or 5-day whitewater day camp that offers expert instruction in kayaking, canoeing, rafting, and water safety—plus fun land-based activities that build confidence, teamwork, and outdoor skills.

What Your Child Will Experience

• Hands-on whitewater kayaking and canoeing lessons

• River safety, swimming skills & rescue education

• Fun, land-based games and team-building activities

• A safe and inclusive space to build confidence and resilience

• Introduction to packrafts, tandem canoes, and more

• Swim tests and wet exits to build water comfort and safety awareness

While KidsCAN focuses primarily on whitewater kayaking, other paddle sports and outdoor activities help keep the week exciting and varied.

What’s Included

• 4–5 days of high-quality whitewater instruction

• All paddling gear provided: kayak, paddle, PFD, helmet, wetsuit

• Certified, experienced instructors with a focus on fun and safety

What’s Not Included

• Meals: Please send your child with a packed lunch, snacks, and a full reusable water bottle

• Clothing & footwear: Refer to the Packing List for what to bring

• Accommodations: This is a day camp. Drop-off and pick-up are required daily.
  → Travelling from away? On-site camping and a Tiny Home rental are available for families.
