Whitewater Kayak Day Program for Teens
SHRED is a five-day kayaking program focused on progressing participants’ abilities by focusing on the fundamentals of river running, playboating and mastering their roll. This program is recommended for intermediate paddlers. The program could include rivers such as Lower and Middle Madawaska, Ottawa Middle and Main channels and the Petawawa Town Section (all water level pending).
What’s included in the fees:
- Transportation to and from rivers
- Rental equipment
- 5 days of high quality instruction
What’s not included in the fees:
- Meals (please ensure your teen arrives with snacks, a reusable water bottle and a packed lunch)
- Paddling clothing and footwear (refer to the Packing List)
- Accommodations – This is a day camp; the expectation is to have parents/guardians drop-off and pick-up teens. If you’re travelling from away to attend, we offer camping on site as well as a Tiny Home you can rent.
