A note from the artist:
“As some of you may know, since retiring I have spent a lot of my time writing, recording and performing music – I can be found on Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube. I have also been on the board of Paddler Co-operative Inc., which does great work in teaching whitewater paddling and outdoor skills to everyone who wants to get outside and enjoy some of our favourite Canadian pastimes. My son, Robbie, was an instructor there and many Ontario camps and schools work with the Co-op to teach whitewater paddling to their campers. The Co-op is undertaking a transformative fundraising campaign so it can buy the land it currently rents on the Madawaska River near Palmer Rapids, thereby ensuring the ongoing ability of the Co-op to do its tremendous work.”
